Writing Your Way Through Chronic Illness- CIRS and Creativity
In this VLOG, therapist and CIRS warrior Brenda Stewart talks about her use of writing to assist in her healing from CIRS. Yes, we still need clean space and binders, but processing emotions can also assist in lowering inflammation. Brenda values written poetry as a place to process the very real challenge of chronic illness. In this space, she is allowed to be raw, real, and messy. Poetry has been a life raft for Brenda, helping her to hold onto hope. She is now offering a CIRS Poetry community support circle. You don’t need to be a poet to join in the healing process. All are welcome in this healing support space. Who knows, a poem may await you as you step back into your creativity?!
